California Birding
This class features two different techniques (one template-free
and based on rotary cutting, the other paper foundation piecing)
to create small details on our feathered friends. One block using
each technique is produced during the class and patterns for all
the other birds are included in my handout packet. The workshop
also includes a demonstration of how to machine embroider the feet
and other details. Bird patterns include these residents and visitors
to California: Crow, Scrub Jay, Woodpecker, Barn Swallow, Mexican
Chickadee, Golden-Crowned Sparrow, Robin, Hummingbird and California
Quail.
